I’m writing this review from our new house and am pinching myself that my husband and I managed to get this place!! Our friends and family are incredulous, and we owe it to Patty and Julie.

We knew we were in good hands when we went to see Patty shortly after visiting an open house that we liked. During that meeting she not only gave us a crash course in SF real estate, but she had already gotten the disclosure packet on the open house we had seen and answered our questions about the house (e.g. why has this place been on the market so long?)and thank-goodness, she steered us away from buying that condo. Patty truly had our best interest in mind and didn’t want us to sell ourselves short, or end up with something that might be hard to sell later. A real estate agent who encourages you to take your time to get what you want? We immediately decided to work with Domicile.

Shortly after meeting, we started doing the Sunday tour of houses that Patty and Julie had prepared for us. The homes were always within our price range, and unfailingly had some element that was appealing to our unique criteria. There were a few wonderful places that came close to being what we wanted, but if one of us wasn’t 100% excited about making an offer Julie or Patty always seemed to pick up on it and encouraged us to keep looking for something that would be a better fit/price/location..whatever. As we saw more places, we learned what we did and didn’t like and would send a brief email about each location to Julie and Patty so they could continue to hone the search.

One night I got a call after the Tuesday brokers tour. Julie – who has an amazing eye for interiors and seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for – insisted that we come see it before the open house on Sunday. After falling in love with the place on Thursday night, we went back on Friday during the day and decided to write an offer before the open house on Sunday. Once the decision was made, seeing the ladies at Domicile in action was amazing. They know how to get the job done. I didn’t want to get my hopes up, but when Patty mentioned that she had known the sellers agent for many years, and she advised that we write a letter to the seller…I got butterflies. Sure enough, at 2pm the next day, we got a call saying the offer was accepted! It turns out we were competing against multiple offers (and this was all before the first open house!).

Needless to say we are absolutely thrilled to have the Domicile team working on our behalf. Think of Patty and Julie as your real estate fairy godmothers – they know what you want, find the gems for you, steer you towards the good properties/values, and seal the deal when you find THE place. As a bonus, they are really fun people and we actually miss seeing them. We know who we’ll be calling next time around!

Companies can still tout their own virtues, but client testimonials hold our collective feet to the fire. They kill off hyperbole. What you say about yourself had better match with what your clients say about you. We love our clients and, according to them, they love us!
